In vitro biocompatibility tests are indispensable for preclinical validation of medical products classes I-III and, as a matter of course, part of our service portfolio. Additionally, we can conduct them with our human tissue-specific 2D and 3D cell culture models, e.g. as surface tolerability tests with respect to surface roughness of new biomaterials. Surface roughness is a particularly important factor for therapeutic success in the development of implants.
Our spectrum of methods contains AlamarBlue proliferation assay, fluorescence microscopic morphological measurements, RT-PCR for individual biomarkers or as biomarker-screening-profiler and RT-PCR for individual biomarker protein expression analyses.
